Chacham Ben Zion Abba Shaul zt"l
Born in Jerusalem in 1924, Chacham Ben Zion Abba Shaul was the outstanding disciple of Rabbi Ezra Attiya zt"l and later Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Yosef. A posek of rare clarity and a tzaddik beloved by all, he raised generations of Torah scholars and dayanim. He passed away in 1998, leaving the Sefer Ohr LeTzion and the yeshiva bearing its name as his everlasting legacy.
